Top Personal Injury Attorney- Max Wistow
Email to a Friend Printer Friendly Version

Just recently, Rhode Island Monthly Magazine surveyed 5-thousand lawyers and asked them this question, 'If you were in need of legal assistance which lawyer would you choose?'  The choice for personal injury, Max Wistow.

They're called "ambulance chasers", "slip and fall guys" but don't call this guy either one!

Max Wistow, Attorney

"There are personal injury lawyers and then there are personal injury lawyers.."

Max Wistow makes it very clear, he is not the type of attorney chasing down frivolous "slip and falls" for a quick buck.

Max

"We like to think of ourselves as taking the more sophisticated and complicated cases, like medical malpractice."

Cases that often leave an impact on him.

Max

"This may sound silly at this day and age, but it's an opportunity to help people."

Including a recent case involving woman in her late 40's.  Her doctor's ignored a very serious health issue that left her blind for life. She turned to Max and won her case.

Max

"This was a woman, destitute, but now will be set for the rest of her life."

Max has gained a reputation for toughness in the courtroom. A man who spares no expense to get to the bottom of what happened but sometimes, the burden is too much.

Max

"There are times when you want to give up and say I can't take this anymore...and times when you feel an obligation, a responsibility."

In court, this normally soft spoken man turns up the heat!

Max

"Probably the most exciting thing is when a cross examination goes well."

Max has had his share of well-known cases, from representing Colonel Walter Stone in a sexual discrimination lawsuit within the state police,  to this, representing the victims of the Station Night Club fire, no doubt, the toughest challenge of his career.

Max

"I can tell you I've never had anything remotely like the station fire cases."

 And probably never will...

Max

"It's actually frightening in some respects that so many people are depending on you one way or another."

But for this veteran lawyer it's a challenge he is ready for.  Max has been listed in best lawyers in America every year since the publication was first issued.
