S'Mores Maker
This latest product is definately made by someone who wants the great taste of s'more's without having to battle the elements outside! The Smore's Maker promises to bring the nostalgia of a campfire inside. But does it work?
Cue in the folksy music and we've got ourselves a down home old fashion campfire... Ok maybe not..a guess a school library just doesn't cut it for that ambiance...but it works!
We've recruited four students from the Martin Elementary School in Seekonk to try out the S'more's Maker! Kevin, Conner, Nicole and Andrea. First Kevin reads through the instructions...
Kevin
"I always look at the box, I never read the instructions, I don't have to, I just can look at the product and figure it out, I don't need to read some instructions"
Susan
"Kevin, does your dad ask for directions when he's driving?
Kevin
"no"
Susan
"I didn't think so."
Once Kevin tells us how to assemble the S'more's Maker, we're ready to light it and start cookin' up some tasty smores.
Susan
"Should we sing a song? Like 'Home on the Range'?"
Kids
"No!"
Well...so much for the nostaligia part...so cue in the folksy music again.. The kids loved that each ingredient had it's own holder and you could spin around the lazy susan tray until you find your treat.. The one drawback...hold your marshmellow too close and it catches fire! Kevin has a few safety tips..
Kevin
"Keep it by the sink so if it catches on fire you can put water on it."
This product really is a neat treat for the whole family. The kids had a great time hanging out inside, it was fun for them and the s'more's tasted pretty good! So we give the S'more's Maker an 11 out of 12.
