Police say cook robbed nearby bank during lunch break
SCITUATE, R.I. (AP) -- Scituate police say a McDonalds cook used his lunch break to rob a nearby bank.
Police say on Wednesday afternoon Robert Salisbury changed out of his work shirt, donned a hat and walked across a parking lot into the Dexter Credit Union.
They say the Foster man handed the teller a note demanding money, left with 42-hundred dollars and went back to work.
Salisbury was arrested Thursday after an officer noticed him standing outside the McDonalds and thought he looked similar to the suspect on the banks surveillance tape.
When he was arrested, he had a credit union envelope containing more than three thousand dollars in his shoe.
