Police: Infant doused with pepper spray after two families argue at Wal-Mart
PONDERAY, Idaho Police in Idaho are charging a woman with dousing a two-month-old with pepper spray. Police say the incident took place Monday in a Wal-Mart. They say the woman sprayed the baby after her daughter doused the infant's aunt.
However, the woman says it was her 16-year-old daughter who used the spray, and that she did so in self-defense.
The woman says her daughter sprayed the woman when the baby's aunt grabbed her. She says the infant's grandmother then "ran through the fog with the baby."
However, the baby's mother tells a local T-V station the woman "was yelling, 'Get the baby! Get the baby!'"
Police say it's a dispute over an eviction.
