Former police officer pleads in marijuana theft
MIDDLETOWN, R.I. A former Middletown police officer pleaded no contest to stealing marijuana from an evidence locker. Michael Braley received a sentence of ten years probation and was forced to resign from the police department.
Prosecutors say Braley in May stole a small bag of marijuana from the department locker.
