Cruise to Lake Wobegon
Email to a Friend Printer Friendly Version

MINNEAPOLIS Humorist Garrison Keillor is taking his fans on a cruise.

Keillor and his "Prairie Home Companion" radio show are setting sail in August from Boston to Nova Scotia. The week-long cruise will include stops at Bar Harbor, Maine, as well as Prince Edward Island, Cape Breton and Halifax.

Theme cruises have been gaining popularity, but this one is the first for Keillor's Minnesota-based radio show.

The cruise on Holland America's "Maasdam" leaves August 20th from Boston. It will cost 14-hundred to 38-hundred dollars per person. The cruise will include four live Prairie Home Companion performances.
