Four former B-Y-U football players charged with sexual assault
SALT LAKE CITY Four former members of Brigham Young University's football team are facing rape charges. They were indicted Friday by a Utah grand jury and are accused of sexually assaulting a 17-year-old girl at a party last summer.
The girl tells police she joined the players at an off-campus apartment where they had drinks and watched pornographic movies. She tells authorities that she passed out on a bed and awoke when the four players started attacking her.
The four players already have been expelled from the school for violating its honor code.
Two others have been suspended from the team.
