Post Office says workers remain on high alert for suspicious packages.
WASHINGTON Three years after the anthrax attacks, the postal system remains on high alert. And the Postmaster General says it's often postal workers themselves who are sounding the alarm. John Potter says "a week doesn't go by" without a postal employee spotting a letter or package that looks odd.
Meantime, the postal service has installed sensors at some facilities to detect anthrax and other biological threats. Potter says so far, nothing has turned up -- and there have been no false alarms.
