Two indicted for drug trafficking

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) -- Two men have been indicted by a federal grand jury on drug-trafficking charges.

Dennis Batista, of Providence, and PawtucketÔŅĹs Lonnie Gasperini are charged with distributing heroin, including within one-thousand feet of a school.

Providence police and the Drug Enforcement Administration conducted the investigation.
