The "Roomba"
"Roomba" is the first automatic vacuum. It claims to clean all of your floors, except plush carpeting. Just turn it on..let it loose and walk away. But..Does it Work?
It's called the "Roomba" and it rhomba's around your room cleaning up! It's a little strange to watch.. It's almost as if it has a personality! Best of all..it doesn't complain about hard work..

We found Amy Bergeron, a very hard working mom who isn't afraid of hard work...in fact..she likes it.

But come on..who wouldn't want a robot vacuum! We let the "Roomba" loose in Amy's house to find out if this funny looking thing really works!

And a lot of dog fur.

"It's pretty gross..it's everywhere.."
Amy and I spread dog fur around the carpet and really ground it in, we let the "Roomba" loose and watch!

The "Roomba" did do a pretty good job on the ground in dog fur...but for the real test...3 year old Keaton and her Cheerio's. Not bad And what "Roomba" doesn't get Keaton will!
The "Roomba" is loaded with sensors to navigate around a room. It can get a little confused at times, but eventually it gets itself out of jams...bottom line..as maids go.."Roomba" isn't perfect.
"Is it something you would go out and buy?"

"Maybe not..I'm still in the mommy mode..you have to do it yourself!"
By the way..the "Roomba" isn't cheap. It's $200 dollars. . We can't say it doesn't work..it does. . But it does not replace vacuuming altogether. It can't be used on stairs, it didn't work well on small area rugs, bottom line, it may not practical for the price. . If you have a product you would like us to test, let us know! .
