Planned Parenthood doctor released from hospital
PROVIDENCE, R.I. The head of Planned Parenthood of Rhode Island has been released from an area hospital. Doctor Pablo Rodriguez was involved in a serious accident in Dallas, Texas, nearly two months ago.
The professor at Brown Medical School had been in Rhode Island Hospital since early March.
The niece of Rodriguez was killed in the accident. Police suspect the female driver of a second car involved in the accident was intoxicated at the time.
Rodriguez will spend the next few days in a rehabilitation center. He's expected to go home next week.
