Potential teenage witness in Michael Jackson trial arrested on sex charges
Email to a Friend Printer Friendly Version

CLIFTON, N.J. A potential defense witness in the Michael Jackson trial has been accused of sexually assaulting and corrupting a minor.

Police in New Jersey say the man (Ahman Elatab) is facing charges that include sexual assault and criminal sexual contact in a case involving a 14-year-old girl.

Authorities say the two knew each other from a belly-dancing class, and had watched pornographic D-V-D's together at the girl's home. They say the relationship came to light after a teacher intercepted a note the girl was passing to a classmate.

The suspect is listed as a potential defense witness in Jackson's child molestation trial. He has described conversations with Jackson's accuser, who told how the pop star helped him fight his cancer through meditation. The man has said the boy believed his cancer was gone because of Jackson.
