New Jersey neighborhood terrorized by wild turkeys
CRANFORD, N.J. People in the New Jersey town of Cranford are being terrorized by wild turkeys. Police have gotten a-half dozen complaints, most of them from a letter carrier. He bashed one of them with a stick after a group of aggressive gobblers surrounded his mail truck and wouldn't let him out.
Wild turkeys can grow as big as four-feet high and are actually fast flyers. They've been clocked at 55 miles-an-hour.
