Does It Work
Pasta Pro

Bob Antignano has seen the "Pasta Pro" on television.
"We always wondered if this would work, and here at Angelo's we cook a lot of pasta...so this is really important."
Antignano serves up Angelo's Italian Cuisine like his father and grand-father before him. "For commercial use it wouldn't be heavy enough."
While Bob doesn't think the "Pasta Pro" would stand up to Angelo's volume, he's eager to try it out. First, he wants to make sure the lid will lock in place.
"You've gotta get teh cover on. We're gonna have to figure out how to lock it in. Okay...oops...we haven't done that yet. (cover locks)Okay, so we've got the cover on now."
The cover's on...Bob adds hot water, brings it to a boil, now the noodles.
"It's ready. We're gonna get these arrows lined up. (SNAP)...there it goes."
Now the true test. The water begins to drain from the pot.
"The water does seem to be coming just out the holes. And the cover held pretty well. I think it worked pretty well."
But how does the "Pasta Pro" pasta taste?
We found a customer willing to give it a try.
"Mm...Mm...Mm...Excellent!!"
So the "Pasta Pro" certainly works, but Bob was somewhat concerned about how well it will hold up over time...it's a bit flimsy. But this expert recommends it for home use, even for campers and boats where there isn't room for multiple pots and pans. He gives the "Pasta Pro" a NINE out of 12.
