Plan to address Greenwich Bay problems presented to council today
WARWICK, R.I. A draft plan to address the environmental problems plaguing Greenwich Bay will be presented to a state council today. Greenwich Bay was the site of a massive fish kill in summer 2003. Most scientists blamed it on too much pollution in the bay. The management plan to address that and other problems was compiled by state agencies and the University of Rhode Island.
The Coastal Resources Management Council will hear about the plan at a 5 p.m. meeting at the Warwick Sewer Authority.
