Providence mayor to present proposed budget

PROVIDENCE, R.I. The mayor of the capital city is presenting his budget proposal to the City Council today.

Mayor David Cicilline is scheduled to make his budget presentation this evening.

The plan covers the fiscal year that begins in July.

The presentation is set for 7 pm in City Council chambers.
