Group of guardsmen to return on rotation
NORTH KINGSTOWN, R.I. A small group of Rhode Island National Guard airmen are coming home today, as part of an ongoing rotation. The seven are members of the 143rd Airlift Wing's Operations and Maintenance squadrons.
They've been on rotation in Southwest Asia.
The seven airmen are scheduled to arrive at Quonset Air National Guard Base in North Kingstown this afternoon. They're coming in aboard a California Air National Guard C130j transport plane.
Additional members of the 143rd Airlift Wing are expected home later this week.
