Indian casino group to picket Chamber of Commerce
Email to a Friend Printer Friendly Version

PROVIDENCE, R.I. Supporters of a proposed Narragansett Indian casino plan to picket today at the Greater Providence Chamber of Commerce.

The casino supporters say the Chamber of Commerce is supposed to support business growth, which they say a casino would bring.

But the chamber has opposed the plan for an Indian-affiliated casino in West Warwick.

The picket is planned for this afternoon at the Chamber's headquarters in downtown Providence.
