Priest, rabbi honored at anniversary of liberation of Nazi concentration camps
PROVIDENCE, R.I. Providence College and the Rhode Island Holocaust Museum is marking the liberation of Nazi concentration camps today in Providence. A priest and rabbi from Rhode Island will be honored at the occasion, beginning at 7 pm at Providence College. The commemoration marks the 60th anniversary of the freeing of prisoners held in concentration camps. It includes an exhibition drawing on the experiences of The Reverend Edward P. Doyle and Rabbi Eli Bohnen.
