Mega Millions jackpot rises -- 13 draws with no top winner
Email to a Friend Printer Friendly Version

UNDATED The last time there was a top winner in the Mega Millions lottery game was back on March first, when a 112 (m) million-dollar jackpot was won.

But no one has managed to pick all six correct numbers in the twice-weekly game ever since, and yesterday's rollover means the jackpot for Tuesday has risen to 168 (m) million dollars.

On the other hand, 20 players in last night's drawing came agonizingly close, by matching five of the six winning numbers. Each of those tickets is worth 175-thousand dollars.

The game is played in eleven states: Massachusetts, New York, Maryland, Virginia, New Jersey, Illinois, Washington state, Georgia, Michigan, Ohio and Texas.
