Searchers to resume searching Massachusetts woods for Molly
Updated 4:00pm. Searchers resumed their efforts to find Molly Bish Wednesday in the Palmer-Warren area. Worcester County District Attorney John Conte says they found more bones Wednesday, consistent with the arm bone Tuesday. Two lower arm bones from the left arm were found and one tibia or shin bone was also found today.
The bones were found around 11:15 am Wednesday morning. On Tuesday a human arm bone was found in the afternoon, which is being tested for DNA in Virginia.
"Recent developments have been a shock to us. We tried to prepare for this, but there is now way we can really do so," Bish's father, John Bish, told reporters at a Wednesday Afternoon news conference. "We continue to hope for Molly. Her return we know will not be as we all would like it to be. However, we need to bring her home, we need to experience som peace."
Other recent items found by searchers include a headband and a bathing suit similar to the one Molly was wearing.
The bone was found just 500 feet from where the suit was found. For continuing Coverage You Can Count On, stay with Eyewitness News for the latest developments.
