Weapons Found In Dorm Room
(New Haven-AP)-New Haven city officials say that a weapon found in a Yale Law student's dorm room is not related to the explosion earlier this week.
There had been a published report that the student was taken
into custody last night.
A spokesman for New Haven's mayor says the weapon found inside the dorm room was a shotgun and the student is not in trouble with the law, but may be in trouble with the school.
The gun was found as investigators try to find out who planted a bomb that exploded Wednesday afternoon.
There were no injuries in the bombing.
