Simple Herb Stuffing

� c butter

1 c onion, diced

1 c celery, diced

2 cloves garlic, minced

16 c herb stuffing mix  (not instant � use the bags of stuffing)

          OR substitute 16 c of cubed, stale French bread

1 tsp each poultry seasoning, dried thyme, sage, tarragon, and salt

� tsp black pepper

2-3 c chicken broth

Melt butter over medium heat. Sautee onion and celery until tender.  Add garlic & sautee additional 2-3 minutes.  Stir in bread, spices, and broth.

Bake uncovered in a 13x9 baking dish.  1� hours at 300�  (adjust time/temperature if needed to bake along with turkey)
