Clean Between Machine
We're told to floss our teeth once a day, but come on, not many of us do. So when we heard about the "Clean Between Machine", we had to test it. It claims to be an effective supplement to floss, we wanted to know, Does it Work!
From strips that promise to whiten, gum that claims to clean, brushes that swear to massage to this gadget that claims to floss.
Jen O'Connell, Rehoboth
"It was on an infomercial..."
Ah yes. Those infomercials with all sorts of products with wild promises...including this one...the "C lean Between Machine."
Jen O'Connell is a busy mom, with little time for herself, flossing is something that is last on her list.
Jen
"My grandfather always told me only floss the teeth you want to keep! Susan asks: 'Is he a dentist?' No, but he had all his teeth until he passed away!"
So, to make Grandpa proud, Jen spent $19.99 on the "Clean Between Machine" It seemed to be the answer to giving her pearly whites that extra shine!
Jen
"It has this little head on it that's supposed to get in between your teeth."
But take a closer look at this little brush..not so little to fit between your teeth!
Jen
"When I got it and looked at it I said no way! unless you have lots of gaps in your teeth."
We looked at the directions carefully and there, in small print was something Jen wasn't aware of.It does say never force the dental instrument between your teeth, floss tight areas, well in your case...
Jen
"I bought it because I didn't want to floss."
Remember, the ad claimed that the "Clean Between Machine" cleans where floss can't reach! Jen says...not even close
Jen
"What I would say is anyone who is buying it because they don't want to floss, don't buy it." We asked Jen to rate the "Clean Between Machine" she gives it a 2 out of 12.
