Federal agents raid mosque in Albany
Email to a Friend Printer Friendly Version

ALBANY, N.Y. Federal agents and local police have raided a Muslim mosque in Albany, New York.

Officers sealed off the streets around the mosque for several hours after the overnight raid. An Albany television station (WTEN) reports two men have been arrested and accused of supporting terrorism.

The F-B-I is not commenting but plans a news conference this afternoon in Washington.

Some members of the mosque held prayers this morning on a nearby sidewalk.
