Children's Motrin Recall!
Email to a Friend Printer Friendly Version

Bottles that were supposed to contain Children's Motrin Grape Chewable Ibuprofen tablets mights mistakenly contain an adult dose of a different kind of over-the-counter painkiller.  A lot that was distributed nationwide to wholesale and retail customers between Feb. 5 and April 1, might contain 8-hour extended Release Tylenol Geltabs.  The adult product contains an adult dose of acetaminophen.  The children's product is a purple tablet with a grape smell.  The adult product is a shiny red-and-white, gelatin-coated tablet.

If parents suspect their children has ingested one of the recalled pills, they can call the National Poison Control Hotline at (800)222-1222.

Or Contact McNeil's Consumer Relationship Center at (800)962-5357.
