Christmas Biscuits
Email to a Friend Printer Friendly Version

Submitted by Pat Lyons from Lexington, KY

1 can Hungry Jack Flaky biscuits
1/2 cup cinnamon sugar
1 stick butter (melted)
1 jar preserves (cherry, pineapple, orange, etc.)

On Christmas Eve night, open and separate biscuits. Dip in melted butter and then in the cinnamon sugar. Place in a round cake pan. After you have done all the biscuits, use your thumb to make an indention in each biscuit. Put about 1 tablespoon of the preserves in each indention. At this point, place in refrigerator. On Christmas morning, preheat oven to 375 degrees. Bake biscuits for about 20 minutes or until browned.  Make sure you use flaky biscuits.
