Two-year-old pulled from ocean in Plymouth dies
(Boston-AP) -- A two-year-old child who was pulled from the ocean at White Horse Beach in Plymouth this past weekend has died at a Boston hospital.
Neighbors say Jacob Bean was playing near his grandparents' home Sunday afternoon when he apparently wandered off.
A search was under way when a neighbor spotted the child floating in shallow water not far from the grandparents' house.
Bean died this afternoon at Children's Hospital, surrounded by his mother and father.
It's not known how long the boy was in the cold water on Sunday.
A statement from Bean's parents thanks everyone who included their son in their thoughts and prayers over the past two days.
