(Woonsocket-AP) -- Two men are being questioned in connection with the abduction of two women.

This morning, police found a 20-year-oldProvidence woman bound and gagged in a Woonsocket apartment after her friend escaped and notified police.

Police say two men held the women against their will in the apartment and the 20-year-old was tied up and forced to watch the beating of her 19-year-old friend.

Lieutenant Luke Gallant says the two men taken into custody are the younger womans 22-year-old boyfriend, and a 53-year-old man.

Gallant says the younger man and the two women left Marios Showplace in Johnston together last night. The women had worked there but had been fired or quit.

Gallant says they went to the 53-year-olds apartment where it seems all four were using drugs.

Police expect to file assault and battery and other charges against both men.
