Patriots say they dont hate Belichick
Email to a Friend Printer Friendly Version

(Foxboro-AP) -- The Patriots dont hate coach Bill Belichick.

Not that it would matter if they did.

Linebacker Willie McGinest says the players and coaches all have  a common goalwin football games. His comments came a day after the Patriots beat the Philadelphia Eagles 31-to-10.

Sundays win helped erase the memories of last weeks 31-to-0, season-opening loss to Buffalo.

Just five days earlier, Belichick decided to cut four-time Pro Bowl safety Lawyer Milloy to make room under the salary cap. Milloy then signed with the Bills and helped them shut out the Patriots.

Several Patriots players deny an ESPN report that they hate their coach. Patriots safety Rodney Harrison says those comments were the stupidest things hed ever heard.
