Eagles' Dawkins out 2-6 weeks with foot injury
Email to a Friend Printer Friendly Version

(Philadelphia-AP) -- The Philadelphia Eagles will be without Pro Bowl safety Brian Dawkins in Sunday's game against the Patriots.

Dawkins will miss the next two-to-six weeks with a sprained right foot. He suffered the injury in Monday night's 17-to-0 season-opening loss to Tampa Bay.

Two other defensive starters for Philadelphia were hurt in that game. Cornerback Bobby Taylor also had a sprained foot and defensive end Brandon Whiting strained a hamstring. Both could be forced to miss the game with the Patriots.
