Patriots are still licking their wounds
Email to a Friend Printer Friendly Version

(Foxboro-AP) -- The Patriots are still licking their wounds after Sundays woeful season opener in Buffalo.

Head coach Bill Belichick says he cant wave a magic wand and correct everything that went wrong in the 31-to-0 loss to the Bills. He says the Patriots got beat in every phase of the game including coaching.

Belichick was fielding questions yesterday about the impact of Lawyer Milloys release last week and subsequent signing by Buffalo before the season opener.

Belichick said he did not believe it was a major factor in the loss, though he acknowledged that some people might feel otherwise.
