Summertime Peppers
Recipe shared by Vickie of Oklahoma
6 fresh mild peppers (6-8 inches in length)
Velveeta cheese
Picante sauce
Cut stems from peppers. Cut lengthwise through one side of each pepper, cleaning seeds from inside. Put a "finger" sized slice of cheese in each pepper and arrange in medium non stick pan. Cover with picante sauce and cover pan with lid. Cook on low until peppers are tender, cheese is melted and picante suace is thoroughly heated. About 15-20 min. Serves 6-8.
