SNOWBALL KISSES (makes about 4 dozen cookies)

1 c butter or margarine, softened
ďż˝ c sugar
1 tsp vanilla
2 c flour
1 c finely chopped walnuts
1 package chocolate kisses (remove foil)
Confectioner�s sugar

At medium speed on mixer beat butter, sugar, and vanilla until light and fluffy. Add flour and nuts, beat on low speed until well blended. Chill dough. Remove foil from kisses. Wrap approximately 1 T of dough around a chocolate kiss and roll into a ball.

Place on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 〫 for 12 minutes or until cookies are set, but not brown. While warm, roll in confectionerďż˝s sugar.
