Bodies of two toddlers found in Georgia pond
WARRENTON, Ga. Georgia officials hope for answers from autopsies on the bodies of two toddlers found in a sanitation pond. A spokesman for the state's Bureau of Investigation says are no outward signs of trauma and no initial reason to believe there was foul play. He says the lab tests will likely be conducted today.
Three-year-old Jonah Payne and his two-year-old sister, Nicole, had been reported missing by their Mother on Saturday.
Searchers finally found the bodies in the algae-covered pond yesterday.
Local police say the children had gotten out of the house earlier Saturday, only to be returned by a neighbor.
