Oklahoma City bombing families still "trying to make sense" of it
THE WOODLANDS, Texas Ten years after the Oklahoma City bombing, Kevin Gottshall says he's "trying to make sense of something that will never make sense." He lost his six-and-a-half-month-old son in the blast that killed 168 people on April 19th, 1995.
Sheryl Gottshall says she was a block away when the blast hit the federal building, where their son was in a day care center.
She remembers getting to the building in time to see rubble spilling out of the sides and being told by her husband that they couldn't get to their son.
She tells the Houston Chronicle that now they can "remember the good things and keep the bad a little more in perspective."
