Governor Carcieri Proposes Pension Reform
Email to a Friend Printer Friendly Version

Warwick--Pension reform is the hot topic of discussion at the meeting Governor Don Carcieri held tonight.

Governor Carcieri says his reform proposals would save Warwick taxpayers alone 1.7 million dollars in the next fiscal year... and there is a list of fifty other towns and cities that would save too.

If this proposal goes through, Governor Carcieri says Rhode Island taxpayers would save more than 270 million dollars over the next five years.
