Housing court judge to be sworn in

PROVIDENCE, R.I. A new housing court judge will be sworn in in Providence today.

Mayor David Cicilline is set to administer the oath to William Rampone at a ceremony this evening.

He's a newly appointed Housing Court associate justice. The housing court is responsible for all actions dealing with violations of housing laws, building codes and zoning ordinances.

The swearing in will be held at City Hall in Providence.
