McMINNVILLE, Tenn. A Tennessee elementary teacher has been charged with multiple counts of sexual battery and statutory rape for her alleged involvement with a 13-year-old male student.

Pamela Turner, a 27-year-old girls' phys-ed teacher and basketball coach, is free on 50-thousand-dollars' bond. She's been put on leave from her job in McMinnville.

A prosecutor says investigators believe some offenses happened at school and some at the boy's home, where Turner lived briefly.

Conviction on all counts could be punished by up to 100 years in prison.
