Boston ready for Patriots 'rolling rally'
FOXBORO, Mass. Tuesday's victory parade for the Super Bowl champion New England Patriots will look a lot like the one Boston had for the Red Sox after the World Series. Players and coaches will ride World War Two-era amphibious duck boats in a "rolling rally" through the streets. They'll steer clear of the frozen Charles River.
The Patriots were greeted by a cheering crowd when they returned home Monday as Super Bowl champions for the second straight year. Players signed autographs and fans got another chance to touch the Vince Lombardi trophy.
As five buses pulled up at the Patriots stadium, a crowd of about two-thousand fans chanted "Dy-na-sty."
