Multi (m) million dollars homes on verge of collapse from California landslide
ANAHEIM, Calif. A slow-moving landslide caused by recent storms is threatening some multi (m) million dollar homes in a gated community in southern California. Two of the homes in Anaheim are on the verge of collapsing.
A city spokesman says one of the homes began shifting in December and last month's storms further weakened the ground.
Last week, another home began shifting two feet a day and it now tilts at a 45-degree angle. An attorney for the homeowners says "It's completely destroyed."
City officials also red-tagged two adjacent homes after the landslide threatened to send them tumbling down the hillside.
