British troops accused in Iraqi's death

LONDON Britain's attorney general says seven British soldiers will stand trial for allegedly murdering an Iraqi civilian in southern Iraq.

In a statement to Parliament, Lord Goldsmith says the soldiers will face a court martial in the May 2003 killing.

No dates for any legal proceedings have been set yet.

No details have been given about the death, other than it occurred at a roadside.
