Boston takes new threat in stride
BOSTON Boston residents seem to be taking a potential threat against their city in stride. One commuter says she's not changing her life. And a pastor in the city says "emotional terrorism" is probably a greater threat. He says he worries more about societal dangers that are ignored: housing, homelessness and poverty.
The F-B-I is investigating a tip that 16 people, including 14 Chinese nationals and two Iraqis, might be planning an attack on Boston. The tip is uncorroborated and there's no credible evidence of a plot.
New security measures in Boston include searches of vehicles entering some underground parking garages. Pictures of four Chinese suspects have been taped inside subway token booths.
