Fetus taken from murdered woman's body
SKIDMORE, Mo. Authorities in Missouri believe a fetus may have survived being cut from its mother's womb. A 23-year-old woman who was eight months pregnant was killed at her home Thursday and the fetus removed. Authorities are searching for the fetus.
Nodaway County Sheriff Bill Espey says, "someone was wanting a baby awful bad."
The sheriff had attempted to issue an Amber Alert for the missing fetus but was told he couldn't because he had no physical description to offer.
