More uncounted ballots turn up in Washington state governor's race
SEATTLE The candidates are still fighting for every vote in the close race for governor in Washington state. King County has found another 22 uncounted ballots in the bottom of some polling machines. So far, about 600 uncounted ballots have turned up and they'll be presented to a county canvassing board. That board will decide whether those votes can be tallied in the current statewide hand recount.
Republican Dino Rossi leads Democrat Christine Gregoire (GREG'-wahr) by 106 votes, with seven counties still counting. Results are due by December 23rd.
