Mollicone back in prison on possible parole violation

Eyewitness News broke the story first last night at 6-an investigation into one of Rhode Island 's most notorious people- Joseph Mollicone.

The former bank president blamed for sparking a state banking crisis in the 1990s is back in prison due to a possible parole violation. Joseph Mollicone served 10 years in prison for stealing millions of dollars.

He's held at the ACI in Cranston this morning, while a state board investigates whether he violated his parole.

Broadcast reports say Mollicone was seen at a local restaurant and may not have been following requirements for electronic monitoring.
