Reed staffer to run national party committee
PROVIDENCE, R.I. The chief of staff for U.S. Senator Jack Reed is the new executive director of the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee. J.B. Poersch will help head a committee responsible for recruiting and raising money for the party's Democratic U.S. Senate candidates.
Reed hasn't decided yet who will replace Poersch.
