Jazz 93 Clippers 91
SALT LAKE CITY Mehmet Okur (meh-MET' oh-KOOR') hit three free throws in the final nine seconds to secure Utah's 93-to-91 triumph over the Los Angeles Clippers. Okur scored 19 points to lead the Jazz to their second victory in nine games. He also hauled down 13 rebounds, including two that led to his free throws down the stretch.
Matt Harpring had 16 points in Utah's 22nd victory in the last 23 games against the Clippers in Salt Lake City. Corey Maggette (muh-GET'-ee) scored 28 points to lead the Clippers, who didn't arrive in Utah until 3:30 a-m Tuesday. Elton Brand added 19 points, one more than Marko Jaric (YAH'-rihch).
