Providence College wins national award
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) -- A Providence College runner has won a national award.
Kim Smith received the Honda Sports Award for cross country. The company donates five-thousand dollars to the women�s athletic program at PC.
Smith is a senior from Auckland, New Zealand. She ended her career by winning the NCAA Cross Country Championship last November.
