Steady demand for flu shots in Rhode Island
Email to a Friend Printer Friendly Version

PROVIDENCE, R.I. Health officials say there's a steady demand for flu shots in Rhode Island.

Massachusetts has lowered the age of eligibility from 75 to 65 for adults, but Rhode Island officials are maintaining the higher eligibility to ensure the highest-risk people get shots.

Some states say they may have surplus of vaccine now, but The Providence Journal reports that demand still exceeds supply in Rhode Island.
